Millions of people believe that the Goldbears are literally good enough to eat. Wilhelm II, German Emperor until 1918, loved them with all his heart. From exile in Doorn, he announced that the fruit-gum bears from Bonn were the best thing that the Weimar Republic had produced. Albert Einstein, the actor Heinz Rühmann and Konrad Adenauer were all fond of them. The Goldbears are also the favourite sweets of many celebrities like the American actress Sandra Bullock and the star of the musical Chicago, Ute Lemper.

		The Goldbears have been found in other forms as well: their likeness can be seen, for example, on T-shirts and towels. One special invention is the bears’ ‘running game’, made from coloured plexiglass, for 2 - 4 players aged between three and ninety-three. Please note, these are not available at the moment.
