Regional Business Manager - Northeast Region

The Regional Business Manager is responsible for achieving profitable sales growth within assigned market as it relates to the HARIBO’s business. This role is expected to maintain strong relationships with broker partners and customers to best execute plans that deliver objectives of: growth, profit, product/assortment, placement/everyday shelving, merchandising, pricing & promotions.


The Regional Business Manager actively sells product to maintain and expand the base within the assigned area.  The Regional Business Manager must possess knowledge of the market and the type of accounts as it relates to the confectionery business.



  • Achieve net sales targets as it relates to the region delivering both sales growth and financial objectives
  • Manage broker relationship for grocery retail and wholesale/distributor business. Ensure broker accountability
  • For HQ call and customer penetration, as well as effective trade budget and financial management.
  • Responsible for sales forecast. Leverage tools and relationship with broker and customers to drive forecast accuracy.  Liaison with Customer Supply Chain Team and Demand Planning.
  • Execute Haribo sales strategies and set targets to meet performance objectives and KPI’s for Brokers.
  • Utilize analytics provided by internal teams (Customer Marketing and Sales) with the ability to
  • prepare and present Customer presentations utilizing available data.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with brokers, customers and internal partners.
  • Conduct annual planning and ongoing business reviews with broker partners
  • Maintain professional and ethical relationships with customers and brokers to ensure compliance within
  • company’s policies.
  • Responsible for becoming expert in Haribo products and confectionery category
  • Other responsibilities as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • Five plus years of CPG experience – required
  • Snacks/Confectionery background preferred
  • CPG Selling experience required including proficiency in trade management and forecasting
  • Experience in adapting to business needs of a rapid growth business
  • Depth of analytical skills and proficiency with syndicated data
  • Ideal candidate will have foundational CPG sales training and background established across roles
  • Strong work ethic, professionalism and positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and plan all sales calls
  • Ability to effectively address complex issues in an effective and efficient manner, and with complete discretion; ability to be entrusted with sensitive and confidential information
  • Result-driven with excellent judgment, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical, and decision making skills
  • Good business and financial acumen; proactive thinker
  • Proven ability to gain commitment and build strategic work relationships
  • Ability to travel weekly
