The compliance with the laws and internal regulations has priority at HARIBO. It is the only way to protect our company, our employees and our business partners from obvious risks. Therefore, possible misconduct at HARIBO has to be recognised, processed and abolished as early as possible.
To achieve this, the attention of everyone, as well as their willingness to point out possible grave misconduct in case of specific indications, is required. We appreciate respective information from suppliers, customers and other third parties. HARIBO has established an informant system for such information. It is available at
around the clock and can ensure the anonymity of the informant entirely. Details regarding the functionality, the anonymity of the informant and data protection are specified in our informant system under ‘FAQ’.
The informant system is exclusively designed for information regarding grave misconduct. These may include
- Criminal offenses against HARIBO, such as bribery, misappropriation or theft,
- Acts which expose HARIBO to the risk of significant penalties, compensation claims or fines, such as cartel law violations, money laundering or gross inadequate work protection,
- Conduct, which violates human rights, for example by accepting child or slave labour, or which disregard matters of environmental protection or anti-discrimination regulations considerably.
Please use other reporting channels to point out less serious misconduct, i.e. your typical contact person at HARIBO, our consumer service or the HR division.
