Student Worker Controlling

Become a Student Worker in the Controlling Team at HARIBO – and get a sweet start to your finance career!

Are you passionate about numbers and curious to see how Controlling and Finance operate in a large international company? Would you enjoy a workday filled with learning, responsibility, and helpful colleagues (plus a little extra sweetness in your desk drawer)? Then you might be our new Student Worker in the Controlling Team!

You will report directly to the Head of Sales Controlling, and you will be based at our office in Vallensbæk. The team consist of 5 team members, who work closely together to ensure transparency and sound financial management.

Our mix that awaits you

You’ll become a valued part of our team and gain hands-on experience with tasks such as:

  • Assisting with monthly reporting: Helping prepare monthly financial reports, often by updating Excel files, PowerPoint presentations or SAP-based reports
  • Data collection and validation: Supporting with gathering financial data from various systems and ensuring its accuracy
  • Administrative controlling support: Helping with documentation, filing, updating master data, or preparing simple overviews for management
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes: Assisting in collecting inputs for budgets, updating templates, and maintaining overviews
  • Ad hoc tasks and projects: Supporting with smaller improvement projects, process documentation, or system clean-up activities

As you grow in the role, you’ll gradually take on more responsibility and get a deeper understanding of how finance supports business decisions.

Ingredients that you bring with you

You are currently studying a relevant degree within Business, Finance, Economics or similar – for example, a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Experience is not required, but you are eager to learn, detail-oriented, and ready to take responsibility.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with data and numbers, and ask questions to understand the bigger picture. You’re a positive team player, and comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken, as we work in an international environment.

At HARIBO, things move fast, and we often have several tasks in play – but we always make time for a good lunch and to celebrate our successes together.

This is a student worker position and you must be enrolled in an active study program at a university or similar educational institution. We expect you to work an average of 15 hours per week. The working hours are flexible and can be arranged to fit your study schedule. You will be compensated on an hourly basis.
