Junior Manager Product Activation

Are you passionate about HARIBO and interested in making this iconic brand big in new markets – especially with a focus on the Asia Pacific market? Then be part of our mission and join our HARIBO ASIA PACIFIC Product Activation Management team in spreading happiness in Asia. We are looking to recruit a Junior Product Activation Manager, starting as soon as possible, based in Singapore.

 

Main responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Support the development and handling of the Asia Pacific portfolio covering Korea, Japan, South East Asia, Greater China and Central Asia/Mongolia.
  • Manage new product developments from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specified requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines across international markets.
  • Ensuring the in-time availability of the products in work together with the Marketing, sales and intercompany departments
  • Lead portfolio management meetings to drive projects forward
  • Support on New product development through strong understanding of production site capabilities and requirements of the Asian markets

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure that all labelling meets the regulatory requirements and standards for each target Asian market, including local language, format, content, and legal requirements.
  • Keep up to date with the latest regulations and standards for product labelling in different Asian countries (e.g., China, Japan, India, South Korea, Southeast Asia).
  • Collaborate with regulatory affairs teams to ensure compliance and resolve any issues with local authorities or certification bodies.

Localization & Translation

  • Work closely with translation, localization teams, distribution partners, internal departments to ensure accurate, culturally appropriate, and legally compliant product labels in the respective languages.
  • Ensure that the product labelling is sensitive to cultural nuances, local consumer preferences, and market trends, a good knowledge of Asian markets’ consumer goods.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Provide regular updates and detailed project reports to team on project status, timelines, and challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of all labelling materials, approvals, and communications related to labeling projects.

 

Required profile

  • Degree in Business administration or Economics or similar
  • Around 2-3 years of professional experience ideally in the branded goods industry / FMCG sector
  • International or regional work experience – ideally with a focus on labelling or packaging for Asian markets
  • International start up mind set, agile, open minded, positive and flexible
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, independent project manager as well as a team player, willing to develop in a coordination position dealing with interdisciplinary and cross cultural teams teams
  • Result oriented, pragmatic, collaborative
  • Ability to handle numerous work streams in parallel
  • Strong intercultural communication skills and sensitivity to regional differences
  • Organized, structured and quality-oriented
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office (in particular Excel and Power Point), SAP is considered as an advantage
  • Proficiency in English, additional relevant Asian language a plus.
