PEN-Y-GHENT FAMILY CHALLENGE

For all those that are looking to blow away the cobwebs and get into the great outdoors, look no further than the Prince of Wales Hospice Pen-y-ghent family challenge, sponsored by HARIBO.

Taking place on Saturday 15 May, the Pen-y-ghent family challenge is perfect for all ages and abilities. It involves tackling the 10.24km peak with an experienced mountain leader and with camping also available, it’s the perfect break away from home to reconnect families, take on an adventure and make lasting memories.

Jill Kirkham, Fundraising Manager at the Hospice said; ‘This challenge is perfect for blowing off the cobwebs after a tough year. The Yorkshire Peaks are so beautiful and they’re right on our doorstep! Camping is available the night before which adds even more of an adventure for the children, and it is a great opportunity to get to know other walkers too.

Our Pen-y-ghent family challenge has been kindly sponsored by HARIBO, who has been an avid supporter of the Hospice for over 25 years. We are so grateful for their support which enables us to raise even more funds to support patient care at the Hospice.’

Philip Murphy, Head of Marketing comments: “Our charities need our support more than ever before and this is the perfect way to put our best feet forward to help. It’s a great way to raise valuable funds, while making memories with our families. So, step up to the challenge and have some family fun along the way too!”
