SUPER RAFFLE DRAWS IN £33,000 FOR MARTIN HOUSE

The ‘Super Raffle’ launched by Martin House Children’s Hospice and sponsored by HARIBO, has helped to raise over £33,700.

The money raised for the Boston Spa based charity could fund one of Martin House’s specialist doctors for six months and enable its community nursing team to visit nearly 40 families at home to provide expert support and care.”

Philip Murphy, Head of Marketing from HARIBO comments: “We are really proud to have been able to support Martin House with their first-ever ‘Super Raffle’. It was a Covid safe way of raising money for a fantastic charity while offering the chance to win fabulous prizes!”

“We would like to send a big thank you to every single person that purchased a ticket, your support means the world to young families who benefit from the services delivered by the Martin House team.”

Lizzie Philpott, Partnerships Manager at Martin House Children’s Hospice, commented: “We can’t thank HARIBO enough. Every year they provide invaluable support. HARIBO’s sponsorship of our ‘Super Raffle’, means that more of the money raised can go to providing care to children and young people.”

“It costs nearly £9 million a year to run Martin House so all those that have supported the raffle have helped to make a difference.”
