The Promoter is therefore responsible for the operation of all matters and concerns relating to the Competition, not the Prize Provider. The Promoter is offering you a chance to win a one-day standard entry ticket for 4 people to Alton Towers and a HARIBO Hamper (the "Prize Draw"). 2. This Prize Draw is open to UK residents (including Northern Ireland) who are aged 18 years old and over at the time of entry. No purchase is necessary to enter this Prize Draw. You may not enter this Prize Draw if you are an employee, agent or supplier of HARIBO or of its group companies, Merlin Entertainments, or professionally connected with the Prize Draw or its administration.

3. To enter this Prize Draw you must log onto your Instagram account, follow @HARIBOUKI_ and @altontowers, like the promotional post, and tag a friend.

This must be done between 00:00 on 21/08/2025 and 23:59 on 29/08/2025 (the "Closing Date") inclusive (the "Prize Draw Period").

4. Entries must be received during the Prize Draw Period. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted and will not be entered into the Prize Draw.

5. There is a limit of one entry per person. Any additional entries will not be counted or eligible to win. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint Submissions to the Prize Draw are not allowed.

6. There will be one winner. The winner will be chosen at random within 14 days of the closing date by a randomised computer process from all valid entries received.

7. Winner Selection: All eligible entries will be assigned a number based on the order their comment appears on the competition post (first comment = 1, second comment = 2, and so on). A random number generator will be used to select the winning number(s). The entry corresponding to the drawn number will be deemed the winner, subject to verification of eligibility.

8. The winner will one day theme park tickets for up to four people to Alton Towers Resort and a HARIBO Hamper (which will include a random selection of sweets, merchandise, and plushies) (the "Prize"):

HARIBO does not accept any responsibility for any costs which are associated with the Prize which are not expressly included in the Prize and any other costs incurred are the responsibility of the winner.

9. HARIBO will notify the winner by direct message on Instagram on or after 01/09/2025. (the "Prize Draw Notification Date") and HARIBO will provide details on how the winners can claim the Prize. The winner has 14 days after the Prize Draw Notification Date to accept the Prize. If the winners fail to claim their Prize within the timescale the winner will forfeit the Prize and HARIBO may re-award the Prize in accordance with paragraph 6.

10. The Prize will be emailed to the winner's email address provided within 14 days of the winner claiming the prize.


12. The Prize is subject to availability and HARIBO reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value. The Prize cannot be exchanged, transferred, resold, or redeemed for cash.

13. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely for the purposes of this promotion by HARIBO to assist with running the promotion on behalf of HARIBO and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose. 14. Subject to paragraphs 14 and 15, and without prejudice to HARIBO's data protection obligations under relevant law, HARIBO shall make available, upon receipt of a written request to competitions@HARIBO.com, the winners surname and county or such other information HARIBO deems necessary.

15. Entrants to the Prize Draw shall, at or before the time of entry, have the right to object to all or some of their personal information being made available in accordance with paragraph 13. You can object by contacting dataprivacy@HARIBO.com.

16. Without prejudice to paragraphs 13 and 14 above, HARIBO shall provide the information set out in paragraph 13 upon request from the Advertising Standards Authority.

17. Entries that contain any offensive or inappropriate content including (but not limited to): (a) obscene, indecent or pornographic content; (b) content liable to incite racial hatred or acts of terrorism; (c) violent content; (d) excessive profanity; (e) content that is harmful to minors in any way; or (f) content that is otherwise harmful, unlawful or illegal, will be deleted, and the individual's entry disqualified at HARIBO's sole discretion.

18. HARIBO will not accept entries that are: a) automatically generated by computer; b) completed by third parties or in bulk; c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or d) incomplete. HARIBO may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.

19. HARIBO's decision is final in relation to this Prize Draw and no correspondence will be entered into.

20. HARIBO is not responsible for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

21. This Prize Draw and HARIBO's Instagram page are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering into the Prize Draw, entrants release Instagram from all and any claims and liabilities which might arise in relation to the Prize Draw.

Entrants agree that, to the extent permitted by law, HARIBO and its employees, will not be responsible for any liability for any losses or damages of any kind resulting from the use of a prize or participation in this Prize Draw. Nothing in these terms shall be construed to limit or exclude any liability of HARIBO for fraudulent misrepresentation, fraud, death or personal injury caused by HARIBO’s negligence or any other liability to the extent the same may not be excluded or limited as a matter of law.

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, HARIBO may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition. HARIBO reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize Draw where it becomes necessary to do so due to unforeseen circumstances.

24. These terms and conditions, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law. You and HARIBO both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

Merlin uses dynamic pricing, which means that online ticket prices are subject to change based on factors such as seasonality, and the estimated demand for such tickets at the time of booking.

11. The offer is subject to the attractions’ annual opening calendars. Please check all opening dates and times before your visit on the attraction’s individual websites. All dates are subject to change (e.g. due to events or park closures).

12. The Blackpool Tower Eye will close for essential winter maintenance works from 1st January 2025 until 31st March 2025 (inclusive). Opening is subject to weather conditions. 19. The offer and/or unique code which form part of this offer remain the property of Merlin Entertainments at all times and as such Merlin Entertainments reserves the right to take possession of the offer and/or unique code at any time.

20. Size, height, weight, age restrictions and medical warnings apply to certain rides and/or attractions.

21. Visitors under 12 years must be accompanied by a person aged 18 years or over at Thorpe Park Resort, Warwick Castle, Chessington World of Adventures Resort and Alton Towers Resort. Visitors 14 years and under must be accompanied by a person aged 18 years and over at the SEA LIFE Aquariums and Centres (Manchester, Blackpool, Brighton, Great Yarmouth, Weymouth, Scarborough, Loch Lomond, Bray and Hunstanton) Madame Tussauds Blackpool and The Blackpool Tower Eye.

Visitors 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 at SEA LIFE Birmingham, The Dungeons (Edinburgh, York and Blackpool). Visitors 16 years and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 and over at The London Eye, Shrek’s Adventure! London, SEA LIFE London, Madame Tussauds London and The London Dungeon.

22. For the purpose of admissions an adult is classified as 12 years of age and over at the Alton Towers Resort and Chessington World of Adventures Resort. An adult is classified as a person 15 years of age and over at SEA LIFE Aquariums and Centres (Manchester, Blackpool, Brighton, Great Yarmouth, Weymouth, Scarborough, Loch Lomond, Bray and Hunstanton), Madame Tussauds Blackpool, The Blackpool Tower Dungeon and The Blackpool Tower Eye. An adult is classified as a person 16 years
of age and over at The London Eye, Shrek’s Adventure! London, Madame Tussauds London, SEA LIFE London Aquarium, The Dungeons (London, York and Edinburgh).

Some attractions operate an individual ticket price which is the same for both adults and children for the purpose of admissions.
This includes but is not limited to: Warwick Castle, Thorpe Park Resort and SEA LIFE Birmingham.

23. Admission will be free for guests under 90cm at Chessington World of Adventures Resort and Alton Towers Resort. Guests under 120cm will go free at Thorpe Park. Under 2s go free policy will also apply at UK Gateway attractions, which include SEA LIFE, Warwick Castle, The London Eye, Madame Tussauds, Shrek's Adventure! London and The Blackpool Tower – for full details please check the specific attraction website when booking.

24. All of the attractions reserve the right, in their absolute discretion, to refuse entry and to close and/or alter all or any part of the facilities including closure of rides and/or attractions and removal of figures for technical, operational, health and safety or other reasons including overcapacity.

25. Features, rides, attractions and/or creatures shown on the website or communications are not necessarily available at every attraction. Please check ahead of your visit to avoid disappointment.

In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these offer terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the impact on participants in order to avoid undue disappointment. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize/gift, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

These terms and conditions and any related disputes are subject to interpretation under the laws of England and Wales, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless your residential address is in Scotland, when Scottish law applies or in the Republic of Ireland, when Irish law applies.
