Sr. Financial Analyst - Manufacturing Operations

 

The Sr Financial AnalystManufacturing Operations is a key member of our finance and manufacturing operations teams. This role is located on-site at HARIBO of America’s manufacturing plant in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (in southeastern Wisconsin, in the Kenosha area on I-94).  The Sr. Financial Analyst will deliver valued information via actual, forecast, operating plan, and management reporting.

The Sr. Financial Analyst (Manufacturing & Supply Chain) role will support the project governance and financial controls process for HARIBO of America's manufacturing facility and supply chain/logistics network.  This is an integral role in collaborating closely with numerous cross-functional teams to analyze and impact business results, support the business performance presentations to upper management, as well as leading ad hoc projects. 

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in financial analysis focused roles, a Bachelor’s Degree, and prior experience in finance related roles supporting manufacturing.   Are you HARIBO?

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare consolidation of monthly P&L vs. plan/LBE/ PY, including volume, manufacturing cost, financial bridges, and historical trends
  • Implementation of operational KPI’s with accurate validation on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Provide in-depth analysis on variances and trends for key operational performance drivers (e.g. production tonnage, scrap, utilization rate) and proactively communicate and partner with the operations team
  • Act as a trusted business partner, provide ongoing financial and operational metrics
  • Perform costing activities for new products and BOM revisions
  • Develop cost standards and annual financial plan for production business unit(s); develop year-to-year cost change analysis for product(s) supported
  • Assist in the preparation and consolidation of the forecast, annual plan and long-range planning processes
  • Support in the preparation of business cases and financial modeling in collaboration with other HARIBO associates

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Experience working in the CPG / Consumer Packaged Goods industry
  • Experience in financial analysis supporting Manufacturing functions

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in the CPG/Consumer Packaged Goods industry
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience with Power BI

 

Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and change in a dynamic business environment
  • Ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, and analytical skills are required

Compensation and Benefits

Target Hiring Pay Range: $110,000 - $135,000 annually

This pay range represents the min/max target annual base salary range HARIBO of America, Inc. may pay for this position at the time of this posting. Please note, a candidate’s offered annual salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and the geographical location of the role.
