Location: Woodbury Common Premium Outlets in Central Valley, New York, 10917. The Sales Associate – HARIBO Retail Shop (PART-TIME) will be an essential part of HARIBO as we will soon be opening our first ever HARIBO retail shops in the United States, with this store being located in the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets Mall in Central Valley, New York.
Working less than 30 hours per week as a PART-TIME Sales Associate – HARIBO Retail Shop, you will help deliver an unforgettable customer service experience in our HARIBO retail shops. Sales Associates will greet customers as they enter the store, provide samples of HARIBO products, and assist customers in their merchandise selection, and process cash and card payments at the registers. Additionally, our Sales Associates will also have the ability to exhibit “Childlike Happiness – one of HARIBO’s core values, and spread “Childlike Happiness” to our HARIBO retail shop customers by creating a memorable experience for all shoppers. Responsibilities:
- Ensuring a high-touch, first class customer service experience for our HARIBO retail store customers
- Greet and approach customers as they enter the HARIBO retail shop/store
- Provide product/food (gummies) samples to customers, assist with product selection
- Replenish products and merchandise with the retail store, stock shelves, move product from backroom to floor, stock shelves, ensure pricing and displays are proper
- Process cash and card payments at register, cash counting, cash handling
- Complete procedures to open and/or close the store safely
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
- 1+ years of work experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, or other related employment
- **This is a PART-TIME role working less than 30 hours per week**
- Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business-- Ability to work day (open), evening (close), weekday, weekend shifts, and holidays
- Frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, occasionally move up to 40 lbs, occasionally bend, reach, climb (using a ladder).

Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of work experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, or other related employment
- Prior experience in a high-touch, customer experience focused retail environment
- Prior experience working at the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets mall
- Multi-lingual a plus / Ability to speak multiple languages

Compensation and Benefits
Target Hiring Pay Range: $17 per hour - $22 per hour
This pay range represents the min/max target annual base salary range HARIBO of America, Inc. may pay for this position at the time of this posting. Please note, a candidate’s offered wage will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and the geographical location of the role. In addition to the base pay, HARIBO of America, Inc. offers full-time associates a comprehensive benefits package to support the well-being of our associates and their families.
