HARIBO of America CFO Receives Prestigious Recognition

Wes Saber, HARIBO of America’s Chief Financial Officer, was recently recognized as a finalist for Chicago’s CFO of the Year by Financial Executives International (FEI).

Wes and his peers in Chicago’s financial industry were honored at a dinner at the Chicago Marriott, attended by nearly 1,000 professionals and emceed by ABC7 Chicago anchor and reporter, Ravi Baichwal. The event recognized financial leaders for their accomplishments and contributions to the business community of Chicago.

“It was a great honor to be included in this year’s nominations for Chicago’s CFO of the Year,” said Wes. “My peers in the field were all impressive and I was proud to stand among them. This is a fantastic recognition for all of us at HARIBO.”

Wes was accompanied by his wife and two children, as well as Associates from our HARIBO of America family to show support and shared pride.

Attendees of the event had the opportunity to connect with C-suite professionals as awards were presented to public, private and not-for-profit companies. All FEI Chicago members are stewarding the financial health of companies that generate billions of dollars annually for the Chicagoland economy and employ tens of thousands throughout the area.
