HARIBO SOUNDS THE HORN FOR LOCAL HOSPICE’S 30TH YEAR

The car was recently unveiled at a special event which saw Goldbear hand over the keys to three excited members of the Hospice clinical team who officially launched the car raffle at Motorpoint in Castleford.

Also in attendance were players from Castleford Tigers, who came along to pledge their support.

Hospice Fundraiser, Anne Giblin, comments:

“We’re so grateful for HARIBO’s generosity which has been a lifeline for us throughout our 25-year partnership. We’re delighted to be celebrating our 30th year with such an amazing contribution and are excited to see how much the car raffle will raise in support of our services to the local community.”

Corporate Communications Assistant at HARIBO, Julie Beaman, comments:

“This year marks a double celebration for HARIBO. Not only are we proud to be helping The Prince of Wales Hospice during its anniversary year, we are also marking 25 years of supporting the Hospice team and hope that the next 12 months will see record funds raised for this fantastic cause.”

Touring community events throughout the next 6-months, visitors are encouraged to purchase a raffle ticket to be in with a chance of winning this fabulous prize. Costing just £1, tickets are available at a range of local outlets including the HARIBO shop in Pontefract, the reception area at the Prince of Wales Hospice, as well as in all of its shops. All funds raised will enable the organisation to continue its valuable work providing palliative care and assistance for local people in their time of need.
