Sr. Finance Manager, Supply Chain
Start: immediately in Chicago/Rosemont, IL / United StatesThe Sr. Finance Manager - Supply Chain is a key interface between Finance and Supply Chain. This position is responsible for financial management, financial analysis, managing annual budgets and forecasts, allocation of resources and decision support for key initiatives.
Located on-site at the HARIBO of America corporate headquarters in Rosemont, Illinois, the Sr. Finance Manager - Supply Chain will oversee finance for the Supply Chain function for HARIBO of America. Working closely with our Supply Chain leadership team, this person will serve as the business partner to the Supply Chain operations function for distribution and logistics while acting as the Finance liaison between Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and other internal teams.
The ideal Sr. Finance Manager - Supply Chain will have 10+ years of experience in Financial Analysis and General & Cost Accounting with a prior emphasis on Supply Chain aspects within Finance and/or Accounting. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting with prior SAP experience, ideally SAP S/4 HANA.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the Finance business partner to the HARIBO of America Supply Chain operations function for distribution and logistics
- Provide high-quality financial insights for strategic decision making
- Owns the period close and forecasting process for consolidated reporting across the Supply Chain
- Partner closely with HARIBO of America HQ Supply Chain operations team
- Develop and implement an inventory steering process to improve transparency and optimize Net Working Capital (NWC)
- Analyze and manage Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) as well as supply-chain related OPEX and CAPEX
- Financial analysis and reporting, ad hoc reports, and attending monthly meetings with Finance and Supply Chain
- Drive automation and standardization in reporting - SAP, Power BI, and Excel by collaborating with internal IT
- Manage inventory valuation in SAP, conduct and analyze inventory audits, oversee reserve recommendation process (provisions for obsolete or slow-moving stock)
- Ensuring the governance and accounting process stays in compliance with all internal policies and controls in accordance with GAAP
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in Financial Analysis and General & Cost Accounting principles
- Deep understanding and ability to ensure compliance with GAAP, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Prior emphasis on Supply Chain aspects within Finance and/or Accounting
- ERP experience, SAP experience strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience with SAP, S/4 HANA
- MBA or advanced degree
