Marketing Coordinator-Sample Room Coordinoator
Start: immediately in Chicago/Rosemont, IL / United StatesThe Marketing Coordinator - Sample Room Inventory Coordinator will assist with various marketing department duties including inventory of our Sample Room (HARIBO product samples) on-site, daily, at our corporate office in Rosemont, Illinois.
The Marketing Coordinator – Sample Room Inventory Coordinator role includes stocking products on shelves in our storage room at the corporate office, inventory management, arranging shipment of packages for promotional events, Purchase Order (PO) management, and other duties. Candidates must be able to lift product up to 50lbs ( fifty pounds) repeatedly, on a daily basis, standing for up to eight (8) hours a day, on a daily basis, and the ability bend and lift repeatedly, on a daily basis. This role also supports the Marketing team through other administrative support tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the intake, fulfillment, packing, shipment, and tracking of all requests for HARIBO product samples or promotional items stocked at the Rosemont corporate headquarters sample room.
- Track and maintain Sample Room inventory of HARIBO product and HARIBO promotional items
- Utilizing FedEx, UPS, and USPS to ship product samples and supplies
- Maintain a well-organized and well-maintained Sample Room
- Manage all Marketing POs (Purchase Orders) to ensure they are entered correctly in the systems
- Utilize MS Word and Excel for inventory and tracking purposes
- Assist with Marketing team by maintaining the creation, organization, and maintenance of all item imagery for use across item spec sheets, eCommerce platforms, and sales materials, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to internal teams
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Demonstrated proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must be able to lift product up to 50lbs ( 50 pounds) repeatedly on a daily basis
- Must be able to bend and lift, repeatedly, on a daily basis
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours on a daily basis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Understanding of utilizing FedEx, UPS, and USPS for shipping and tracking of shipments ( HARIBO product samples, HARIBO promotional items)
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy
Compensation
Target Hiring Pay Range: $40,000 - $55,000 annually
This pay range represents the min/max target annual base salary range HARIBO of America, Inc. may pay for this position at the time of this posting. Please note, a candidate’s offered annual salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and the geographical location of the role.
