IT Administrator

The IT Administrator will provide assistance, as assigned, for all associates both locally and in the field regarding all IT-related needs. This includes completion of assigned help desk tickets, deployment and maintenance of end user facing technology, maintenance and support of IT infrastructure, and security system maintenance. The IT Administrator will also support the Senior IT Manager through policy deployment, software deployment, and project work.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete assigned help desk tickets for issues related to connection, printing, software, viruses, mobile devices, Microsoft office, etc. during and after office hours, escalating any unresolved issues to the Senior IT Manager
  • Image and deploy laptops to new hires or replacements, instructing users on the use of equipment and software
  • Deploy and maintain OS and third party software, systems and services within company guidelines
  • Troubleshoot end user facing technology
  • Track and maintain a detailed inventory of all office equipment and software
  • Schedule warranty repairs and replacements with service providers
  • Manage system backups
  • Manage security systems including badge deployment, VPN access, user/network rights, etc.
  • Assist with policy deployment, including software updates, mapping printers, compliance, etc.
  • Maintain CISCO VOIP system
  • Refresh IT infrastructure as needed
  • Executing global IT initiatives and participating in IT projects
  • Train users on systems in the area of responsibility
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or Management Information Systems or related field
  • Minimum two (2) years IT experience
  • Experience troubleshooting Dell hardware (A+ certification preferred)
  • Good working knowledge of Windows 10, MS Active Directory, MS Exchange Server, MS Office, SCCM
  • Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere with Veeam Backup and Recovery preferred
  • Detailed knowledge of fire wall maintenance and enterprise class anti-virus  
  • Working knowledge of LANs, WANs and VLANs
  • CISCO networking or similar experience
  • Manage high volume of requests in an organized and responsive manner
  • Research and troubleshoot complex IT issues and provide workable solutions
  • Result-driven with excellent judgment, decision making, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical, and decision making skills as well as strong time management skills
