GLITTER BALL RAISES £160,000 FOR MARTIN HOUSE!

Last Friday, HARIBO sponsored Martin House's biggest fundraising event of the year, the Glitter Ball, which raised an astounding £160,000!

Their annual black-tie event included a champagne reception, three course dinner, games, entertainment and live music. To support their online auction, HARIBO donated a 'year’s supply of sweets' to one lucky winner.

Representing HARIBO on the night were Jon Hughes, Gareth Igo, and Tabea Powell, all of whom had a fantastic evening networking and supporting our charity partner.

Jon Hughes, Managing Director, said: “It was an honour to support last week's Martin House Glitter Ball – their biggest fundraising event of the year. Throughout the evening there was such a positive atmosphere, and the turnout was fantastic.

“We feel privileged to be a long-standing partner of Martin House and feel proud that we have been able to support them to raise over £160k on the night.

“The funds will help Martin House to continue their amazing and important work: to create moments of happiness and lasting memories for those that need it the most."

At HARIBO, we have been proud to support Martin House Children's Hospice for 15 years. They provide  palliative care to children and young people in North, East and West Yorkshire, who face life limiting illnesses. Their 24-hour specialist support ensures that parents and families are looked after during the challenges they face daily, as well as beyond.
